Description

Unless you always get your seven to ten daily vegetables and eat a truly balanced diet, the chances are you may be deficient in one or more key vitamins and minerals. In fact, as many as 74% of the population are!

Our bodies need a wide range of vitamins and minerals to be able to function correctly. Taking a quality, daily multivitamin is something that we can all do, to make sure that we are not missing any of the crucial, but sometimes hard-to-find minerals and less common vitamins that we need, to be at our best.

Ultimate Pro (previously called One.) was created by Jess driven with her own frustrations with finding multivitamins that contained all the necessary elements, made using quality ingredients that deliver the best nutritional benefits, rather than inferior quality base ingredients or forms of vitamin that Jess knows are less effective.

She wanted a UK made, daily multivitamin that contained every major vitamin and trace element in a daily dose, to ensure a comprehensive RDA of everything our bodies need to function at their best.

Suitable for men, women and children and adults of all ages and life stages, Ultimate Pro is perfectly balanced and uses gentle, yet effective forms of all the core vitamins and minerals our bodies need each day. Jess carefully sourced each vitamin in Ultimate Pro and perfectly balanced the formula for the optimal daily dose.

Ultimate Pro is also an environmentally sound choice. The compostable container (made of sugar waste) is printed with a biodegradable label that is attached with biodegradable glue, rather than unsustainable plastic and resins. And the vitamins themselves contain one core thing – pure, unadulterated, highly bioavailable vitamins and minerals. The capsule is sugar, soy, gluten, colour and flavour free, there are no genetically modified ingredients and the ingredients are suitable for those on a vegetarian or vegan diet.

Dosage: Each jar contains 120 capsules; a 60 day supply. Take two capsules daily.

Ultimate Pro really is the only daily multivitamin you’ll need.

Vitamin A acetate is a natural and easily absorbed form of vitamin A, essential for the skin, mucous membrane, eye and immune system health.

Beta-carotene provides a safe natural source of vitamin A. Beta carotene is an antioxidant, shown to reduce the risk of cognitive decline and to slow lung and respiratory ageing.

Vitamin B1: Thiamine Hydrochloride is a very easily absorbed and very safe form of vitamin B1. Thiamine is a critical vitamin that supports blood sugar and reduces the risk of diabetes, can improve energy, is essential for the heart and aids brain function.

Vitamin B2: Riboflavin allows other B vitamins to work properly, and is critical for the cells in our body to function. It has been shown to help migraines), eye health, anaemia, energy levels, collagen for healthy skin and hair and protect against some forms of cancer.

Vitamin B3: Nicotinamide is a well-absorbed form of B3 and is a critical vitamin for the skin, supporting the adrenal glands and acting as an anti-inflammatory. It is also critical for cell function, the regulation of energy, supporting our genetic material and how we age. It is often used in creams for acne and skin conditions and has a role in reducing the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Vitamin B5: Calcium pantothenate is a stable and easily-absorbed form of vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid), an essential nutrient. B5 is necessary for co-enzyme A, a critical cell enzyme that helps produce our cell’s energy and has a role in maintaining our blood sugar and stress response. Vitamin B5 research may improve LDL (bad) cholesterol, help skin healing and reduce inflammation when used topically, be as effective as steroid creams for eczema in children, help acne and reduce signs of skin ageing.

Vitamin B6: Pyridoxine HCl has the highest rate of absorption in the gut of any B6 supplement. Vitamin B6 is essential for over 100 enzyme reactions in the body. It’s used to produce the important neurotransmitters for our brain and nervous system (serotonin, dopamine, adrenalin, noradrenaline and GABA). It also allows the use of vitamin B3 and selenium, helps in blood sugar control, the synthesis of fats used by the brain and our blood production.

Vitamin B7: Biotin is most commonly sold as a supplement to support healthy nails, hair and skin. It may be particularly helpful for those with type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol and may reduce triglycerides and VLDL, the most dangerous forms of cholesterol.

Vitamin B12: Methylcobalamin. Some people may struggle to absorb or break vitamin B12 down, and therefore the pre-activated form of methylcobalamin is a much better choice than a standard vitamin B12 supplement. Those who have gut problems, brain or nerve problems, fatigue or who are on a vegan or vegetarian diet often benefit from supplementing B12.

Boron: Sodium borate. Boron is a very important trace mineral. It is particularly important for bone health and growth and works with calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and vitamin K. It’s also important for wound healing, elevating sex hormone levels in both men and women and is an anti-inflammatory.

Vitamin C: Calcium ascorbate. Vitamin C protects the immune system, reduces the severity of allergic reactions and reduces the severity of infections. It’s essential for connective tissue, bone healing, wound healing and gums and is a potent antioxidant, protecting us from toxins.

Chromium picolinate: This is a high-quality and more bioavailable form of the mineral chromium. It has been shown in large randomised controlled trials to have a benefit to blood sugar control and insulin levels, which are critical for long-term health.

Copper gluconate: A gentle form of the essential trace mineral, copper helps make blood cells and maintains nerves and the immune system.

Vitamin D3: Vitashine®. The sunshine vitamin! 60% of the UK population are low in vitamin D, as 90% of it comes from sunlight. Low levels of vitamin D can cause an increased risk of infections, and the risk of dying from them. Deficiency can also lead to bone problems and pain and supplementation can help mood, gut health, brain and memory.

Vitamin E: D-Alpha Tocopherol. A powerful antioxidant, particularly important for eye health. It may also help brain development.

Folate: L-5-MTHF. (Not to be confused with folic acid, which is a synthetic form of folate). Folate gives the best bio-availability and avoids the toxic effects of synthetic folic acid, which include a possible increased risk of cancer. Folate is a critical vitamin for the nervous system and has been shown to improve migraines, psychiatric disorders and even be beneficial in Alzheimer’s disease.

Inositol: An important nutrient, related to glucose, that helps blood sugar and insulin regulation and may help with mood, hormone and fertility issues and preventing diabetes.

Iodine: Potassium iodide. Critical for thyroid function, brain function and foetal brain development in pregnant women.

Vitamin K2: MK-7. A deficiency in vitamin K can cause bleeding and bruising. Vitamin K helps our bones and blood vessels.

Magnesium: Magnesium bisglycinate Up to 50% of the population have insufficient magnesium in their diet. Low levels can cause muscle cramps, an irregular heartbeat and low levels have been associated with diabetes, Alzheimer’s and high blood pressure.

Manganese gluconate: A potent antioxidant, essential for the nervous system and brain, reproduction and fertility and the immune system.

Molybdenum: Ammonium molybdate. An essential trace element, molybdenum is used by many enzymes in the body. A deficiency can cause increased reactions to certain food. It may also help prevent tooth decay and is important for brain function. When deficient, we are more prone to oesophageal cancer.

PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid): PABA is a natural precursor to folic acid, made by your gut microbes. You can be low in PABA if you have gut problems. PABA is good for skin tone, protects skin against UV radiation and helps skin pigmentation.

Selenium (from yeast): Selenium is important for thyroid function, our immune system our hormone balance and reducing our risk of cancer. Deficiency can produce hair loss, infertility, low energy, a weak immune system and brain fog.

Zinc: Zinc gluconate. Zinc is critical for our immune system. It can also lower the levels of inflammation in our body, and therefore the risk of many diseases. It can improve hair and nail growth and even support brain function and mood.
