Balance Type
welcome to realign: balance type
Xandra says: I’ve created this plan based on my many years of experience as a chiropractor, treating a wide range of back, joint and mobility problems with thousands of patients of all ages.
Good posture doesn’t have to mean spending hours learning a specific new technique or following a rigorous exercise regime. To help you to achieve better posture, knowing what posture type you are will determine the order in which you carry out my exercise plan. It literally is a case of ‘it’s the way that you do it’ – you could have 50 of the ‘correct’ exercises for improving your posture, but doing them in the wrong order isn’t going to rapidly or substantially improve your posture (and besides, nobody needs 50 exercises to fix their posture).

We want to get you feeling confident, more stable, looser and with better core strength. Doing these exercises in the right order is vital for your success. This programme is laid out in the right order for you to get maximum benefit without spending hours exercising.
this programme is ideal for…
- increasing confidence on your feet
- reducing neck tension
- improving the appearance of slouching
- improving flexibility
- reducing a neck hump
- better posture
Stretching your chest muscles and working your low back and deep abdominals in the correct order with gentle movements, can help give your body the strength and support it needs to remain in the right posture. You will find more freedom of movement and fewer aches pains.
We’ve made the plan quick, easy and suitable for all ages to make significant changes to their posture with just a few simple, daily exercises, that change every three weeks. At the end of the 12 week course, you’ll move more easily, with less stiffness, feel more confident with a wider range of movement.
The programme has four stages. Each stage has simple guidelines of what you need to do and when, and we have videos to show you how to correctly practice each exercise or stretch.
What you need – and get – with this programme is a system of exercises, stretches and advice that will work for you, because it is specific to you and your body’s needs. Balance types need to work on repeating the easy to do balance exercises throughout the day as much as possible. Loosening and stretching out their chest and legs whilst also strengthening their core, so that their joints and muscles are able to work the way they were intended to. We do this through a series of very simple stretches and exercises. They are easy, effective and quick to do.
